In Chapter 2, I considered the state of the real world dispassionately. In particular, I focused on and examined themes that are becoming apparent as major problems. As a result, we can see that the world has been deteriorating rapidly since the Industrial Revolution, and that humanity has been the cause of this deterioration. It has also become clear that this deterioration is the cause of dire situations that have been thought of as natural disasters. We are also beginning to see that it is the “creatures that support us” that are affected and suffering from these changes. If we do not pay attention to these changes, which we cannot see unless we are aware of them, and take immediate countermeasures, we will end up in the worst possible situation.
