How should countries cooperate?（2）

In addition to the issue of global warming, I have also touched on the response to pandemic infectious diseases. As I indicated in Chapter 2, various crises are looming. With our collective efforts, I think we will do whatever it takes to break the bad trend we have seen so far, and work toward the way things should be in the future.

『The new coronavirus is shaking the world as a pandemic, but unfortunately, it is questionable how much cooperation has been achieved in the world. In fact, I think that the failure to cooperate early on has resulted in the loss of many precious lives and a severe economic slowdown. The time is definitely approaching when we must protect the earth, regardless of race, religion, or interest. The abnormal weather is one of the warning bells. I fear that unless we unite to cooperate and respond to various issues, we will truly lose sight of the future. For this reason, I sincerely hope to convey this situation and lead to a change to a full-scale cooperative and collaborative approach, even if only little by little.』
