For my part, I believe that we, the human race, must be aware that we are deciding the fate of this planet, and we must act responsibly.

『First of all, I would like each and every one of you to be aware, as much as possible, that we are deciding the destiny of this planet. I want everyone to understand that the future fate of this planet is decided by the power of each and every person. I also think it is necessary to convey that indifference, such as thinking that it doesn’t concern you because you leave it to members of parliament or people who can deal with it, is a problem. It is a fact that many members of the Diet are also preoccupied with a multitude of immediate problems, and it is not necessarily true that many of them are voluntarily taking action on these issues. Therefore, I think it is necessary for each one of us to play a role in raising awareness of our objectives and speaking out through various opportunities, rather than just leaving it up to others.』
