What is our approach to preventing greenhouse gas emissions?

We still hope that if we get serious about it, we can suppress the rise in temperature, but unfortunately, most people have not yet reached a point where they feel a sense of crisis, and we are not on the same page, and I am concerned that we are approaching a critical point that must not be crossed. I want to prevent a future in which, by the time we realize it, it is too late and life on Earth is wiped out, so I would like to work together with you to tackle this issue.

『As industrialization progressed and the world changed in pursuit of a more convenient life, coal and oil, which were the power sources at the time, were burned, and as a result, the concentration of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere gradually increased. Currently, electric vehicles and other things are gradually becoming more popular, but the production of ths electricity still mainly involves the burning of fossil
fuels, which continues to release carbon dioxide. I still hope that if we get serious about it, we can suppress the rise in temperature, but so far we are not necessarily on the same page. This risk is already recognized by many people, but unfortunately, I am concerned that the majority of people have not yet reached a point where they feel a sense of urgency. However, as described in Chapter 4, the reality is that the critical point of temperature rise is fast approaching and is likely to be exceeded at any moment. In fact, large-scale melting of ice, disappearance of rainforests, dying coral reefs, and the release of methane gas that will potentially accelerate global warming have been identified as major problems. If humanity does not come together as soon as possible and take proactive action toward a common goal, it will be too late, and we will likely be heading toward a future in which all life on Earth will soon be extinct. I want to protect the Earth of tomorrow. There is no other way than to think about what we can do together with other people to protect the Earth and the precious creatures that live on it, and to come together as one to address these challenges from now on.』
