Can global warming be prevented?(1)

As the average temperature rises, heat is also being stored in the ocean.

This accumulation of heat is evident in the increased strength and frequency of typhoons, but it also has a negative impact on climate change and the lives of marine life. I showed in Chapter 4 what lies ahead of these changes, but in order to prevent such a situation from occurring, we need to change our behavior immediately.

『The concentration of greenhouse gases is steadily increasing, and heat is gradually accumulating in the atmosphere. If we look at the trends in the world’s average temperature over a short period of time, we may not see much change, but as mentioned above, the average temperature is rising rapidly. At the same time, heat is steadily being stored in the ocean. If something were to trigger this heat to be released into the atmosphere, it could lead to an uncontrollable situation. Even if such a thing does not happen, it is impossible to predict how much heat will be stored in the ocean, and it is already well known that the rise in temperature in the ocean will have a major impact on the climate. The recent devastation caused by powerful typhoons reminds us of the magnitude of the risk.
